The Detailed Information Window brings up more detailed information on individual titles. Typically, it lists the name, publisher, price and category. Often, there will be a description of the product as well.
In the upper right corner of the description box is a triangle. Clicking here is similar to turning down the page in a book -- you are in effect tagging the item.
As in the Browse Window, there is an information box at the bottom listing the item number and the search mode used.
There are also several buttons to choose from:
Browse Returns to the Browse Window.
Reviews Lists reviews of this item.
Close Closes the window.
Note: A Windows close box is also in the title bar.
> Moves forward one item in the list
< Moves backward one item in the list
>| Goes to end of the list.
|< Goes to beginning of the list.
Like most of the other windows in CoC, the Detailed Information Window has an active title bar. It is only visible when the mouse is moved over it. When visible, you can choose from two drop-down menu items: Options and Help.
The Options menu contains the following items:
Tag All Tags all items in the list.
Clear Tags Clears all tagged items.
Flip Tags Swaps tagged and untagged items. This feature is nice in case you want to copy or print most of the items, but not all of them. So rather than tag every item you want, simply tag the ones you don't want, then Flip Tags.
Copy Copies tagged items to the Clipboard.
Print Print tagged items on your printer.
Remove Remove tagged items from the list.
Order Order tagged items.
Close Close the window.
Note: A Windows close box is also in the title bar.
The Help menu contains the following items:
Contents Enters the help file at the Table of Contents
Context-Sensitive Enters the help file at the point where this text begins.
